Dr. Keith C. Miller

Dr. Keith C. Miller is a native of Denver Colorado. He performed his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado and completed his professional studies at Northeastern State University College of Optometry. He graduated magna cum laude in 2002. Dr. Miller was a member of the honor society Beta Sigma Kappa while completing his education and received the Ocular Sciences Innovative Research Award.

He moved here with his family in 2010 to serve as the Director of Refractive Surgery Services for Bakersfield's largest LASIK surgery provider. Since 2003, he has worked with LASIK and other refractive surgeries providing evaluative, pre and post-operative care for thousands of patients. In addition to refractive surgery, his expertise includes ocular therapeutics, dry eye management, contact lenses, and primary eye care.

He recently authored a book discussing the causes and treatments for dry eye. It is important for Dr. Miller that he gets to know each patient. This knowledge helps him better understand each individual's interests and vision requirements, so he can best educate them about advancements in eye care and provide the best options available. Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids in the outdoors. He particularly likes hiking, camping, cycling and spending time at the beach.
